It seems like an unlikely kill until Bartolomeu broke the elegant beasts leg and brought it crashing to the ground. Where they pounced upon their helpless victim and began their feast.

What started off as a small tattoo for a Twilight fan turned into a full back tattoo of the main cast of the movie.

Cathy Ward, 49, is such a mega fan of the Twilight Saga series of books and movies that she wanted something a bit more special… her entire back covered in artwork from the vampire films.

The supermarket worker, from Reading, braved 22 hours in the tattoo artist’s chair after months saving £2,000 to put permanent reminders of stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner on her skin. She was desperate to get almost the whole cast on her back because she claims they helped her lose weight.

Despite working in the cake department, she ditched calorie-laden foods in favor of getting stuck into the popular books and movies, and dropped 14 dress sizes in just 6 months. (from size 24 to 10)

Mrs Ward said:

A friend of mine got me the first film on DVD because I was feeling low.
Once I started I just couldn’t stop myself. I had to go out and buy all the books and films. I got hooked. It became my way of rewarding myself. I wanted a permanent reminder of the amazing series so I got a small tattoo and that turned into what I have got now.

She plans to have more Twilight tattoos

Cathy Ward plans to save £2,000 more to spend another 12 hours under the needle as she eclipses her whole torso with the gothic tribute.

There are still a few bits to do. I am going to get my arms done before my 50th birthday in summer. I love Robert Pattinson. I want to tone up so I can get his character Edward Cullen on my stomach. The way I look at it I could be spending the money on going out drinking and eating but instead I’m spending it on something I am really passionate about.

• Put foundation (For good base for the blue color)

• Draw in the eyebrows.
• Re-create your eyes with black eyeshadows.
• Put stripes with dark blue and black color creme mixed. Patterns facing to your nose.
• Do the cat eye with a black eyeliner.
• Put white dots following the stripes in your forehead.
• Touch up the cheeks and the tip of your nose with a pink blush.

• For ears she used a cereal box card board.
• For the nose shape she used some regular Play-Doh.

Ben Stiller was costumed as an Avatar’s Na’vi at the Oscars (Academy Awards). But the original idea was a little different, Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Bruno) was supposed to be costumed as a female Na’vi, and Ben Stiller would be her translator, all the sketch ending with Cohen declaring he is “pregnant with the love child of James Cameron”. The Academy rejected the idea and Sasha was also uninvited from the Oscar ceremony, the producers thought it would be insulting to the director and didn’t want to risk any chance.

Finally, Ben Stiller rethought the concept, and decided to makeup as a Na’vi, with a fake long tail. The audience was speachless, and I couldn’t stop to laugh.
