Warner Bros. and Hollywood wants to make a Death Note life-action movie based on the famous anime Tv series. The director for this project is Shane Black, the same who is in charge to direct Iron Man 3. The film is scheduled to be released in 2014.
2014 will be the year for the Shinigamis

Light, a bright student who stumbles across a mystical notebook that has the power to kill any person whose name he writes in it. Light decides to launch a secret crusade to rid the streets of criminals. Soon, the student-turned-vigilante finds himself pursued by a famous FBI criminal profiler known only by the alias L.

No. This is horrible, an outrage, this is truly disgusting. Zac Efron as Light and Robert Patterson as L?! This is going to ruin Death Note for EVERY Otaku that ever existed!!! I think they should just stop, quit then kill themselves.

why? why Death Note? I really hate it when somethings go to live action in america because sometimes it gets ruined. What if other people see that arn’t otakus they will see what we watch and say how lame it is and not try it…just letting the cast know whats the movie goes out there will be alot of angry Otakus.
