Paranormal Activity 3 proved there’s interest in the franchise by opening to $52.6 million this weekend. It presents significant improvement over Paranormal Activity 2′s $40.7 million. Distributor Paramount Pictures reports that the audience was 54 percent female and 53 percent under 25 years old.
