Actor Johnny Depp has finally agreed to do a brief cameo in the big-screen adaptation of 21 Jump Street.
To be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), the big screen adaptation stars Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Brie Larson, Rob Riggle, DeRay Davis, Dave Franco and Jake Johnson.
Based on the Fox series that ran from 1987 to 1991, the movie will center on two undercover cops (Hill and Tatum), who are assigned to work in schools. Cube is playing the police chief and Larson is the female lead.
Jonah Hill had previously said that they had written a “really funny” cameo for Depp.
