Music video by Britney Spears performing Hold It Against Me.
The video starts with a meteorite crashing from Space. Britney wears white and black dresses (and a bride’s dress), she is surrounded by media devices (microphones, cameras, Tvs) and plays with color paints. In the Tvs appears images from her previous videoclips, including the first one, Baby One more time. There is also a fighting scene against herself.
“Hold It Against Me” is the first single from her upcoming seventh studio album, Femme Fatale. It was written by Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Bonnie McKee and Billboard.
The music video was filmed on January 22 and 23, 2011. It was directed by Jonas Akerlund, while Brian Friedman served as the choreographer.
The video was described by an on-set source as a 21-century Rocky Horror, space age fantasia of dance. Akerlund assured that: it is not “Britney does Gaga”. It is a 100%5 Britney video.
The music video premiered on MTV on February 17, 2011, at 21:55 EST (2:55 UTC).
