Nitro Circus was an American television series that featured Travis Pastrana and his friends traveling around the world riding dirtbikes, base jumping, and performing reckless stunts.

On September 4, 2010, cast member Tommy Passemante announced on Twitter that “There will not be a season 3 of Nitro Circus. Bigger news to come.”

On September 7, 2010, cast member Special Gregg Powell replied to numerous questions about a 3rd season of Nitro Circus, “How about Nitro Circus 3D Movie instead? Well, It’s gonna happen so hang till summer 2011.” This is most likely the bigger news that cast member (Street Bike) Tommy Passemante mentioned on September the 4th.
