Plants vs. Zombies for Nintendo DS in 2011
The game Plants vs. Zombies keeps on growing in fame and in consoles availability. PopCap Games has announced a January 2011 release for the Nintendo DS.
Plants vs. Zombies will cost $19.95 (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price), and just like in other platform releases, will include: Adventure, Survival and Puzzle modes, and mini-games, as well as new and exclusive game content.
Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense game (or plant defense game), which features a variety of zombies as antagonists on your lawn. Multiple versions are available, from online competitive free-to-play mini-game to the iPhone/iPad mobile platform and soon on the Xbox 360′s Xbox LIVE Arcade as well.
Since its debut in 2009, Plants vs. Zombies has become a global phenomenon, selling millions of units worldwide. Additionally, on the iPhone and iPod touch, the game generated over $1 million in revenue the first nine days it was available via iTunes, and remains near the top of both the iPhone and iPad sales charts.
