If you’re considering to buy an iPhone 3GS these days, my advice is: DON’T DO IT, WAIT.
Based in some historical patterns of iPhone releases (Timeline of Apple Products), it’s widely expected that Apple will debut a new iPhone model in less than two – three months.
The next iPhone for sure will have a faster processor, more storage memory, better battery life, more RAM, and so on. It’s likely the prices will remain exactly the same as the current models, so you get more at the same price.
Lets remember that:
- The first iPhone went on sale on June 29, 2007
- The second iPhone, iPhone 3G went on sale on July 11, 2008
- The third iPhone, iPhone 3GS went on sale on June 19, 2009
