Chan Ho Park was sick during his first game with the Yankees

Chan Ho Park is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher on the New York Yankees. He was the first South Korean-born player in major league history.

He justifies to the reporters that his recently bad performance in his first game pitching with the Yankees was because he has a lot of diarrhea.

He is very surprised to see how his words result to be funny to other people.

At the risk of making a broad over-generalization, it seems to be that people in Eastern Cultures do talk about… eliminations…. much more freely than we do in Western cultures.
