Resident Evil 4: Afterlife is filmed with the James Cameron Fusion Camera System, the 3D technology used in Avatar. This is going to be a great movie (I Enjoyed Resident Evil 1 and 3).
5 years ago the virus escaped, and almost everybody died. Alice goes to an abandoned Hollywood, an airplane cemetery?, looking for survivors.
I think all those planes were indicative of the other Alice clones, as if they all went after Wesker one at a time, and this Alice is the last one.
From the Trailer: The dogs Doberman are back, Wesker is infected, Las Plagas/ Majini are in the film, the Tokyo scene does happen with Alice fighting against guards using katanas and ninja stars, Alice loses her powers, the world is not all dried up, and The Executioner is correct size.
The Claire versus Executioner fight will undoubtedly be one of the biggest highlights of Resident Evil: Afterlife.
The cinematography is beautiful. I like how they are using the colors for the different scenes.
The name of this movie “Afterlife” is the same working title that was used in the previous movie before it became “Extinction”.
This is the first live-action movie based on a video game to be in 3D.
