While there is still no actor for the main role of Marvel’s The First Avenger: Captain America, this is the first time that we hear a real proposal coming from Marvel, they are offering Chris Evans to be Captain America.
Lets remember that this wouldn’t be Chris Evans first time as a Marvel superhero, in 2005 he was Johnny Storm (The Human Torch) in the Fantastic Four.
There is still NO report that Evans has accepted the role.
The role covers a contract of 9 movies (sequels and spinoffs).
I sincerely am not sure if the role is made for Evans but it will be a mistake of him to reject this HUGE opportunity.
The shooting begins in June, so the clock is ticking.
In the other hand, Hugo Weaving is reportedly in negotiations to appear as the Red Skull, Captain America’s arch-nemesis.
