Maleficent: From Sleeping Beauty is the next Tim Burton and Disney Movie

Maleficent will be the title for an adaptation of Sleeping Beauty, this new movie comes from Tim Burton and Disney, after a Alice in Wonderland’s huge success, the formula repeats, but this time with a twist.
The story will centered not in the princess Aurora, but in the life (probably from birth to death) of the villain, Maleficent, the evil witch / fairy godmother.
Its release date is planned in 2013.
Maleficent is a character evil, Gothic, terrifying, dark and very serious, all of these is just honey in the hands of Tim Burton.

True, there is a Maleficent movie allegedly in development (see IMDb) and Disney registered the domain name maleficentmovie.com back in April 2009, but Tim Burton is not involved. This rumor was shot down on his Wikipedia entry weeks ago.
