Since the last Google PageRank update was done on New Years Eve of 2010. The next PageRank update will be scheduled by Google somewhere between the March-April period, as every update generally is displayed for public viewing every 4 months, it is very probable that it will be in April.
There are no rules about this, if Google wants to update the public value of PageRank every 1 or 6 months, it is just up to them.
In reality, there is a private value of PR only visible to Google that changes everyday.

I beleive thatg will all the parameters involving the attribution of a certain pagerank and continuous changes, for those like me who don’t know much about SEO from a technical point of view, writing regularly and with quality is a good way to grow steady and not being penalized.

Like many people, I wish Google would update pagerank more frequently.
PR is pretty much meaningless these days. Mostly for the bragging.
I don’t know if PR is still worth something or not, but to be honest, I’m much more interested in the next backlinks update. Or does that happen at the same time?

i can’t wait, last update brought some good news for me, it changed from 1-2 now i am hoping atleast 3 or even 4 because i have worked hard all last 3 months.

It’s the 1st of April and the news of PR update happening tonight is going viral all over the internet. Any news as to the validity of it?

It was expected that on 1st of April 2010 google will update page ranks but still there is no updates.
I think google is aware of April Fools day to update pr on Ist April.
You may seen there are some tools available to check the pr.
These tools are basically set to measure only a few variables while as google measures are several times sophisticated. NO tool can tell you exact prediction even there are some websites tools which show very high or very low results.One you mentioned is showing pr10 is just set to display that while some of them are set to display zero. If you want to see reliability of the tool just check their own site for pr or some known site and you will see how the trend is set by so called tool masters.(say I have given subject for article on the issue)

I know many people say PR doesn’t really help with rankings, but since the update I’ve moved onto first page for two of my main keywords, with no extra efforts. I think it works a little – not a lot, but certainly has SOME effect.
Our site got updated to PR 1 from 0. We did a lot of link building recently, still have not figure out how to raise PR in a consistent way. Any ideas?
