Alice in Wonderland’s White Queen was inspired in Tv’s cooker Nigella Lawson

In a recent interview, director Tim Burton has declared that to give life and personality to the character of the White Queen played by actress Anne Hathaway, he was inspired in the host of a British Cooking Tv Show: the young Nigella Lawson.

Burton said:

There’s this very beautiful cooking show host in England named Nigella Lawson and I quietly had her as my image for this character. She’s really beautiful and she does all this cooking, but then there’s this glint in her eye and when you see it you go, Oh, whoa, she’s like really … nuts. I mean in a good way. Well, maybe. I don’t know.

Following to this lines you can compare one video of each one preparing a special beverage, so you can compare them. It seems to be that Anne Hathaway saw some of the show’s episodes because she really seems to be performing Nigella. You be the judge.
