Five Palestinian, Israeli and international activists were painted blue and were costumed with pointy ears as Na’vis from Avatar, this protest happened in the village Bil’in of Palestine. They are fighting against the imperialism in Palestine.
This was a non-violent demonstration but the the Israeli army responded with gasifications and sound bombs. They were treated with violence, like in the movie.
What a coincidence that Bil’in spells like Na’vi with an apostrophe in the middle.
