Dr. Conrad Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson

Dr. Conrad Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter, he did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Jackson. Today Monday, Dr. Murray will be arraigned at 1:30 PM. He will plead not guilty in the judgment.
If convicted, Dr. Murray faces a maximum of 4 years in prison and $25,000 of bail.
According to the Coroner’s report, the manner of death is homicide and the conclusion is based on the following 4 items:
- Circumstances indicate the Propofol and the benzodiazepines were administered by another.
- Propofol was administered in a non-hospital setting without any appropriate medical indication.
- The standard of care for administering Propofol was not met. Recommended equipment for patient monitoring, precision dosing and resuscitation was not present.
- The circumstances do not support self-administration of Propofol.
Dr. Conrad Murray administered Propofol to Jackson just before he died.
