Star Trek 2 is aiming to have a release date on June 29, 2012. The date was confirmed by producer Bryan Burk.
So far the only movie scheduled for that month.
Writers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof are still working on the script for the sequel. There have been hints at possible story directions, including incorporating real-world themes and a possible comeback for Khan, though J.J. Abrams says he has not yet decided if he will return to helm the follow-up.
