This is the First trailer of the new Karate Kid movie, although the kid will learn Kung Fu from China and not Karate from Japan, but the wise producers wanted to avoid any comparison with Kung Fu Panda, so they chose to let aside any differences of both Martial Arts, which is of course a big FAIL to begin with.

It is a Remake of The Karate Kid (1984) with several changes.

The movie looks okay, not bad, Jackie Chan (as Mr. Han) can really be a tough and funny master and Jaden Smith (as Dre Parker) can act and fight.

There is no Danielsan and no Mr. Miyagi, these are new stories and characters (although the title insist in the other way). In the other hand, Pat Morita’s Mr. Miyagi is just irreplaceable.

To train in the Chinese Wall must be amazing.

Director: Harald Zwart (The Pink Panther 2, Agent Cody Banks)
Writer: Michael Soccio (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)
Release Date: 11 June 2010 (USA)

Will Smith must be proud, his son alone as the main protagonist in a poster.

Karate Kid Plot

Work causes a single mother to move to China with her young son; Dre, a skateboarding video game buff. Unable to speak Chinese, Dre finds it hard to settle in, and gets beat up by the local bully. He also meets with a Chinese girl from his class. Jackie Chan plays Mr. Han, a maintenance man who spots his black-eye and offers to teach him both martial arts (Kung Fu) and Chinese, so he can defend against all the kung-fu students.
